Quick Launch Lab Workshops for AI, Cloud, and Data
Quick Launch Lab is JBS Dev's program of assessments, workshops, and hands-on sessions for AI, cloud, and data work. Most are free for qualifying organizations, and you keep the deliverable whether or not you continue.
WHAT IT IS
What Is the Quick Launch Lab?
Quick Launch Lab is a set of focused sessions where JBS Dev experts work through one goal or problem with your team and hand you a result you keep.
Sessions cover AI readiness, AWS architecture and data services, cloud and modernization, and retail and EdTech projects. Depending on the session, you leave with a roadmap, a written report, a recommended architecture, or a proof of concept.
It's also a low-commitment way to see how we work. There's no obligation to continue, and you can act on the deliverable with us or on your own. If no session fits, ask us to shape one around your goal.

What it costs
Most sessions are free for qualifying organizations. The AWS Well-Architected Review Session is paid; its session page explains the AWS credit that can offset it.

HOW IT WORKS
How a Session Runs
A session runs in four steps and ends with a deliverable you keep.
STEP 1
Tell us the goal
Use the form to describe the goal or problem and the systems involved.
STEP 2
Agree on the session
We confirm which session fits, its format, and who from your team should attend.
STEP 3
Work through it together
JBS Dev experts run the assessment, workshop, or hands-on session with your team.
STEP 4
Keep the deliverable
You receive the roadmap, report, or proof of concept. Several sessions deliver it within five business days.
Who should attend
The people who know the systems and the business problem. Some AWS workshops need a minimum group size, listed in their sections.
What happens next
That's up to you. You can act on the deliverable on your own, or move to a defined project or ongoing support with us.
FAQ
Quick Launch Lab FAQs
What is JBS Dev's Quick Launch Lab?
Quick Launch Lab is JBS Dev's program of assessments, workshops, and hands-on sessions. JBS Dev experts work through one goal or problem with your team, such as AI readiness, an AWS workload review, or a retail project, and hand you a deliverable you keep. Most sessions are free for qualifying organizations.
Is the Quick Launch Lab free?
Most sessions are free for qualifying organizations. The Agentic AI Assessment is free to start, and the Technology Assessment is free. The AWS Well-Architected Review Session is paid, and for qualifying organizations AWS can issue a credit once JBS Dev implements the recommended fixes. Ask us which terms apply to you.
What do I get at the end of a session?
It depends on the session. The Agentic AI Assessment ends with a proof-of-concept demo, a feasibility analysis, and an implementation roadmap. The Technology Assessment ends with a written report of findings and recommendations. The EdTech Discovery Session delivers a recommended architecture, high-level requirements, and an approximate cost and timeline.
How long does a session take?
Most take between half a day and a full day. The AWS Immersion Day workshops run about five hours, and the Well-Architected review takes about 4 to 8 hours of virtual discovery. The Retail and EdTech Discovery Sessions deliver their written results within five business days.
Do we have to hire JBS Dev afterward?
No. There's no obligation to continue. The deliverable is yours, and you can act on it with us or on your own. If you do continue, the work moves to a defined project or ongoing support, scoped from what the session found.
