Account Executive (Remote)

JBS is seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive with a background in technology.

JBS Dev is growing its Sales team! We are currently looking for a highly motivated Account Executive with strong knowledge in enterprise technology, custom applications, mobile, cloud, data/machine learning, and digital transformation. As an experienced sales professional in the enterprise technology space, you will be responsible for focusing on bringing in new client relationships and converting them to long-term partners by leveraging your team, knowledge, and interpersonal skills. Your ability to build rapport with appropriate client executives and stakeholders to understand their business needs - and partner with JBS’s leadership team to deliver accurate estimates and proposals - is key to overall success in this role.

In this role you will be driving complex business solutions by leveraging technology around Custom Application Development, mobile integrations, AI, IoT, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and DevOps. 

This position is fully remote in the United States, and the working hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. Some travel will be required for conferences and events.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record of 7+ years in sales prospecting and hunting, with strong skills in identifying, researching, and targeting high potential clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including a focus on building relationships, exceptional listening and communication abilities, and a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Experience selling solutions in the enterprise technology or software space (Cloud Migration, Application Modernization and Data & AI) is required. 
  • Experience selling to C-level executives and Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Ability to articulate solutions and their value to IT and business executives. 
  • Demonstrated experience in selling and orchestrating services deals, encompassing deal sizes ranging from $100K to multi-million dollar transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • An entrepreneurial spirit; willing and able to take initiative, self-motivate, and work in a remote environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the end-to-end deal cycles, from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for clients. 
  • Research and identify prospective clients within the target market. 
  • Evaluate potential clients' position and needs within the industry. 
  • Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and industry meet-ups to foster business development opportunities. 
  • Contact potential clients to establish and nurture business relationships. 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement outreach campaigns. 
  • Qualify self-generated and marketing-generated leads. 
  • Lead presentations for prospects to showcase the value of our services. 
  • Overcome sales objections and negotiate with leads effectively. 
  • Work towards and meet agreed-upon sales targets and quotas. 
  • Provide daily updates to the Sales and Delivery team regarding sales pipeline progress. 
  • Maintain professional development through workshops, participation in professional societies, and staying up to date with industry trends. 

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of standard selling disciplines, specifically Solution Selling. 
  • Existing knowledge of region with developed relationships. 
  • Familiarity with CRM's like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.

Base salary starting at $120K

On-Target-Earnings (OTE) at $300k
